The “File Request” feature exclusively provided by ASUS WebStorage can quickly provide an environment that allows enterprise customers or team members to upload documents, photos, or videos instantly and securely. Uploaders do not need to have an account to upload files. You can also set a password or an availability period to manage the upload link.
1. Create and Manage a File Request (Account Owner)

- Go to the ASUS WebStorage web version .
- In the menu on the left, click [File Request].
- Click the [Add File Request] button in the upper-right corner to add and configure a file request folder.

After clicking “Add File Request,” you can configure the settings according to your needs:
- Folder Name: The name of the file request folder.
- Link Password: Can be enabled or disabled. If enabled and a link password is set, uploaders must enter the correct password before they can upload files.
- Link Expiration Date: Can be enabled or disabled. If enabled and a link expiration date is set, files can no longer be uploaded after the expiration date.
- Storage Limit: Can be enabled or disabled. If enabled and a storage limit is set, files can no longer be uploaded after the storage limit is reached.

After configuring the file request folder, you can share the link with enterprise customers or team members who do not have an ASUS Cloud account.
- You can copy the link to share it.
- You can also click the mail icon next to the link to share it by email.
- Recipients of the link can upload files without signing in.
- Recipients of the link can only upload files; they cannot browse, delete, or rename files in the folder.

If you want enterprise customers or team members to temporarily stop uploading files, you can close the completed file request folder.
- Right-click the created file request folder.
- Select [Edit File Request].
- Click the button next to [File Request Status] and select [Close].
2. Upload Files to a File Request Folder (No ASUS Cloud Account Required)

- Go to the link provided by the file request creator. If the file request creator has set a [Link Password], enter the password first.
- If the file request creator has not set a [Link Password], you can upload files directly.
- Click [Start Submission] to begin the upload process.
- Step 1: Enter uploader information
- Name: This name will be used at the beginning of the uploaded file name (for example, if the uploader sets the name to Friend A and uploads a file named 123.xlsx, the file name will be changed to Friend A_123.xlsx after uploading).
- Email Address: Enter the uploader’s email address.
- Verification Code: Enter the verification code.
- Step 2: Start uploading files. Click [Start Submission] to select files. You can select and submit one or more files.
- Step 3: Complete. After the files are submitted, the screen will notify the uploader that the submission is complete.
