WebStorage does not limit or disable guest payments. Whether the guest checkout option appears is controlled by PayPal’s system. Some users may see options like “Check out as a guest” or “Pay with a credit card without logging in to a PayPal account” . However, these options are not guaranteed to appear for all users or at all times.
Why you might not see the guest checkout option
According to PayPal , the availability of guest checkout depends on several factors, including (but not limited to):
- The item is a recurring subscription product.
- Your PayPal usage history or existing PayPal cookies in your browser.
- Your location, credit history, or PayPal's internal risk analysis.
Therefore, even if you don’t have a PayPal account, the guest checkout option may not always appear.
