How to create project folders in my ASUS WebStorage business account?

If you are an admin of ASUS WebStorage business account, you can follow the steps below to create project folders in [Management ProjectSpace page].

Notes

  • The functions of the project folder are available to all users on ASUS WebStorage for business.

  • The ability to create project folders is only available to admins.

How to create a project folder?

  1. Log in to ASUS WebStorage web version.

  2. Click on the avatar on the upper-right corner of the page, and click [Dashboard].

  3. On the left side menu, click [File and Sharing] > [Management Project Space].

  4. Click [+Add Project Space] in the upper-right corner of the screen.

  5. Start setting up a project folder.

    • Project Space name: Name the project folder.

    • Collaboration quota: Set the space limit for this project folder.

    • Expiration date: Set an expiration date for this project folder.

    • Single file upload limit: Set a maximum file size limit that you can upload to this project folder.

  6. After clicking [Confirm], the project folder you created will appear on the [Management ProjectSpace page].

How to invite members to project folders?

If you want to invite members to project folders, you can follow the two ways below :

Method 1: Invite members from [Management ProjectSpace page].

  1. Log in to ASUS WebStorage web version.

  2. Click on the avatar on the upper-right corner of the page and click [Dashboard].

  3. On the left side menu, click [File and Sharing] > [Management ProjectSpace].

  4. Click the […] icon next to the project folder.

  5. Click [Management members].

  6. In the Add member field, enter the name of the members you would like to invite one by one.

    • You can also click on the Add member field and select the members' names from the drop-down list.

  7. Click the [+] button.

  8. Members' names will list in the Member list below, and you can start setting permissions.

    • [View and download]: With this permission, members can view and download the contents in the project folder.

    • [Editing allowed]: With this permission, members can upload, browse, edit and delete contents in the project folder.

    • [Manageble members]: Members will have all the permissions of [Editing allowed], and they can also add, change, or delete members in the project folder.

  9. Click [Save Editing].

Method 2: Invite members from [Project Space].

  1. Log in to ASUS WebStorage web version.

  2. On the left side menu, Click [ProjectSpace].

  3. Right-click on the folder you would like to invite members.

  4. Click [Share].

  5. In the Member list section, click the [+] button.

  6. Tick on the checkbox of the members you would like to invite and click [OK].

  7. Click on the pencil icon next to the member’s name, and you can start setting permissions.

    • [Editing allowed]: With this permission, members can upload, browse, edit and delete contents in this project folder.

    • [Manageble members]: Members will have all the permissions of [Editing allowed], and they can also add, change, or delete members in this project folder.

    • [View and download]: With this permission, members can view and download the contents in this project folder.

  8. Click [OK].

To set an expiration date or space quota to project folders, you can refer to the following steps:

  1. Log in to ASUS WebStorage web version.

  2. Click on the avatar on the upper-right corner of the page, and click [Dashboard].

  3. On the left side menu, click [File and Sharing] > [Management ProjectSpace].

  4. Click the […] icon next to the project folder.

  5. Select [Edit Project Folder].

Notes

  • When the project folder expires, the status will show Be expired, and you will not be able to see it in [ProjectSpace].

  • You can follow the steps above to set a new expiration date for the project folder. Once it becomes valid, you can see it in [Project Space] again.

To delete project folders, please refer to the following steps:

  1. Log in to ASUS WebStorage web version.

  2. Click on the avatar on the upper-right corner of the page, and click [Dashboard].

  3. On the left side menu, click [File and Sharing] > [Management ProjectSpace].

  4. Click the […] icon next to the project folder you would like to delete.

  5. Select [Delete ProjectSpace].
