How to delete an account?

This article explains the process of deleting an ASUS WebStorage personal account.

To delete ASUS WebStorage personal account

1. Go to the account deletion page and sign in with your ASUS Cloud ID.

2. Read the information on the impact of account deletion and check the box confirming that you understand and want to proceed with the deletion.

3. Click [Delete account] and click [Confirm].

4. You will receive a 6-digit verification code via email linked to your account. Check your inbox and if it's not there, check your spam and promotions folder or click [Resend] to request a new code.

   1. If your email address is invalid or unable to receive emails, update it in the [Customer Center] >[Change Personal Data].

5. Enter the 6-digit verification code, select your reason for deleting the account, and click the [Confirm deletion] button within 10 minutes on the account deletion page.

   1. Each verification code is only valid for 10 minutes, if not completed within 10 minutes, request a new code.

6. If the message "Deleted successfully" is displayed on the page, it confirms that your account has been deleted. This means you will no longer have access to the account and all data stored in the cloud has already been permanently deleted and cannot be retrieved.

Troubleshooting steps for account deletion issues

If you experience issues during the account deletion process, please follow these steps:

1. Update Google Chrome to the latest version and clear your cache, cookies, and browsing history.

2. Restart your network or Wi-Fi and ensure a stable connection.

3. Use the latest version of Google Chrome in incognito mode to access the account deletion page.
