How to share files with friends and relatives who do not have an ASUS Cloud Account?

You can share files stored in the cloud with friends and relatives who do not have an ASUS Cloud account through the [Public Share] function in [Sharing Settings]

Public Share

  1. Right-click the file or folder you want to share

  2. Find the [Share] button in the menu

  3. In the sharing settings, set [Link Setting] to [Public Share]

  4. You can copy the link to friends and relatives who do not have an ASUS Cloud account

  5. You can also share the link via Email by clicking the letter symbol next to the link

Limits of Authority Settings of Shared User

If you wish to set the limits of authority of who you shared with, you can click the pencil symbol next to the link

  1. If you want the shared party to be able to view and download files at the same time, please select [View and download]

  2. If you want the shared party to only be able to view the file, select [View Only]

If you want to set a password and expiration date for the share link, you can click the [Link Security Settings] button below the link

  1. Set password: Enter the password in the "Link password setting" field

  • If you forget or want to change your password, you can turn off the Set Password button first, then turn it on again, and enter a new password.

2. Set the expiry date: In the "Link Expiration Date" field, select the expiry date of the link

  • After the expiration date, the link will automatically close
