How to Use a Redemption Code to Activate ASUS WebStorage Cloud Space

If you have received an ASUS WebStorage 20-character redemption code to activate a one-year cloud storage plan, it is only valid for personal accounts and the used space must be below the plan capacity. New users need to register an account first; existing account holders can log in directly to redeem. Paid users have renewal or upgrade restrictions depending on the expiration date, and users with auto-renew subscriptions cannot redeem. Redemption is non-cancellable and storage space cannot be accumulated.

ASUS WebStorage Redemption Code Activation Guide

When purchasing an ASUS computer, you may receive an ASUS WebStorage redemption code that can be used to activate a cloud storage plan with specified capacity and duration. This article will guide you through the redemption process and explain how to handle common scenarios.

  • Before starting the redemption, please confirm the following conditions:
    • Type of Redemption:
      • The redemption code is either a 20-digit code or a QR Code type; if you have a 16-digit activation code, please refer to How to claim storage space with your activation code? for activation instructions.
      • Please confirm the content of your redemption plan. If you have used a plan that includes automatic backup (ASUS Secure Auto-Backup), you will no longer be able to use the automatic backup function after redeeming the WebStorage plan.     • Account Type: Redemption codes are only applicable to personal (ToC) accounts. Business (ToB) accounts cannot redeem.
    • Subscription Status: If you are currently an IAP (In-App Purchase) auto-renewal user or a periodic subscription user, you cannot redeem.
    • Storage Usage: Your account's current "used space" must be less than the "purchased space" included in the redemption code. To check your account space details, please refer to: How to check space details
    • Once this redemption code is activated, the usage period is 1 year, and redemption is non-cancellable. After expiration, you can continue using it through renewal.
    • This activation code is only valid for binding to 1 ASUS Cloud account, and cloud storage cannot be accumulated.

    1. Go to the redemption activation page: https://service.asuswebstorage.com/refill/ (or scan the QR Code to enter).
    2. Click "Register" at the top right of the page, fill in your country/region, birthday, email (which will be your ASUS Cloud ID), password, and check the agreement to the privacy policy, then submit. After registration, please check your email inbox and click the verification link.
    3. Reopen the redemption activation page and log in with your new account.
    4. Enter the 20-digit redemption code and click "Confirm Submit" to complete the plan activation.
    5. Click the ASUS WebStorage logo at the top left to start using the cloud service.

    Alternative method: After completing registration and logging in, you can also click "User Center" at the top right → enter "Space Redemption" → enter the redemption code to complete activation.

    You can use the redemption code for renewal/upgrade/extension, and the plan content will be adjusted immediately upon redemption.

    • Original 2TB → Redeem 1TB code: can extend for 1 year and immediately adjust to 1TB.
    • Original 2TB → Redeem 2TB code: can extend for 1 year and maintain 2TB.
    • Original 1TB → Redeem 2TB code: can extend for 1 year and upgrade to 2TB.
    Auto-renewal/Periodic Subscription User No restriction

    Cannot redeem.
