ASUS WebStorage Redemption Code Activation Guide

You may receive an ASUS WebStorage redemption code, which can be used to activate a cloud storage plan with a specified capacity and duration. This article provides guidance on the redemption process and addresses common scenarios you may encounter.

  • Before starting the redemption, please confirm the following conditions:
    • Type of Redemption:
      • The redemption code is either a 20-digit code ; if you have a 16-digit activation code, please refer to How to claim storage space with your activation code? for activation instructions.
      • Please confirm the content of your redemption plan. If you have used a plan that includes automatic backup (ASUS Secure Auto-Backup), you will no longer be able to use the automatic backup function after redeeming the WebStorage plan. For automatic backup, please see: Start a Backup with ASUS Secure Auto Backup
    • Account Type: Redemption codes are applicable to both personal (ToC) accounts and business (ToB) accounts.
    • Subscription Status: If you subscribe in ASUS WebStorage mobile app, you cannot redeem.
    • Storage Usage: Your account's current "used space" must be less than the "purchased space" included in the redemption code. To check your account space details, please refer to: How to check space details
    • Upon activation of this redemption code, the usage period may vary , and the redemption is non-cancellable. After expiration, continued use is possible through renewal.
    • This activation code is only valid for binding to 1 ASUS Cloud account, and cloud storage cannot be accumulated.

    2. Click "Sign up" at the top right of the page, fill in your country/region, birthday, email (which will be your ASUS Cloud ID), password, and check the agreement to the privacy policy, then submit.     3. Reopen the redemption activation page and log in with your new account.
    4. Enter the 20-digit redemption code and click "Confirm Submit" to complete the plan activation.
    5. Click the ASUS WebStorage logo at the top left to start using the cloud service.
