Suddenly signed out or prompted to update?

ASUS WebStorage is regularly updated to enhance performance, security, and feature compatibility across mobile and desktop versions.
If you are suddenly signed out or see a message prompting you to update, your current version of the ASUS WebStorage app or desktop application may no longer support the latest features.

  • If you’re already signed in (App / Desktop)
    • You may be automatically signed out and asked to sign in again or update the app . This behavior is part of the system’s protection mechanism and does not indicate an issue of your account.
  • If you haven’t signed in yet (App / Desktop)
    • When signing in, you might see a message requiring to update to the latest version.
      You’ll need to complete the update before signing in.
  • What to do?  Make sure you’re running the latest version of ASUS WebStorage.
    • iOS: Open the App Store, search for ASUS WebStorage, and update the app.
    • Android: Open Google Play, search for ASUS WebStorage, and update the app.
    • Desktop version: Follow the on-screen update instructions, or download the latest version from the  Support Center → Download page.

If the issue persists after updating, contact our support team through the virtual assistant Elisa at the bottom right of the Support Center, or submit a request via the Report Form.
