Restore Files from ASUS Secure Auto Backup

There are two methods to restore data:

  •  
    1. From the left tab, select [Restore].
    2. From the [Select device] drop-down menu, select the device where the backup was created.
    3. From the [Select backed up time] drop-down menu, choose the date and time of the backup version you wish to restore.
    4. Use the tree view to select the folder or file you want to restore.
      • (Optional) Modify the restore location by clicking on the folder icon.
    5. Click [Start Restore].

    • Log in to ASUS WebStorage for Web.
    • Navigate to [Backup] > [Auto-Backup] on the left menu.
    • Double-click on the backup device.

    • Choose the folder with the date and time of the backup you want to download.

    • Check the box of the file to be downloaded and click [Download] in the top right.

      Note: 

    • Only one backup file can be downloaded at a time. You cannot download a full backup folder or multiple files at once. 
    • Files stored in Auto-Backup cannot be deleted individually. Auto-Backup is designed for data protection and recovery. To remove backup data, you must manage or delete the backup device or backup settings, rather than deleting individual files.
