How to exclude specific files from the backup?

If you have certain file types in the backup path folder that you don't want to include in your backup, you can use the following steps to exclude them.

 

Exclude specific files from backup

  1. Click on the ASUS Secure Auto-Backup icon in the bottom right corner of the Windows taskbar.

  2. On the left tab, select [Backup], and then choose [Options] in the top right corner.

  3. Choose [Exclusions] from the list of options.

  4. Type in the file extension you want to exclude in the "Add file type to be excluded" field and click on [Add].

    1. To remove an extension that you've already set, simply click the [X] button beside it.
